AviHawk for iOS & the AviHawk website
AviHawk is not an official source for flight planning. Weather, NOTAMs, charts and aircraft data are provided as a planning aid only. Always verify with an official source and obtain a standard weather briefing before every flight.
Contact
Email [email protected]. AviHawk is built and run by one person, so replies are best-effort rather than guaranteed within a fixed window — but every message is read.
It helps a great deal if you include: what you were doing, what you expected, what happened instead, your device and iOS version, and the approximate time it happened.
Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account from inside the app at any time: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. No email request is needed.
Deleting removes your login, your email address, your profile, and your personal content. Some records are kept because someone other than you is required to keep them — see the privacy policy for exactly what stays and why.
If you are the only administrator of a flight school, the app will ask you to hand the school to another administrator first, so that the school's students and instructors are not left without one.
Flight School Billing
Payments to a school are processed by Stripe and pay for real-world flight instruction, aircraft rental and related services. Card details never pass through AviHawk's servers. For a question about a specific charge, contact your school first — they hold the ledger for their own students. If something looks wrong on AviHawk's side, email us.
Weather, NOTAM and Aircraft Data
NOTAMs come from the FAA's NOTAM Management Service, weather from NOAA's Aviation Weather Center, and US registration data from the FAA's public Releasable Aircraft Database. If a specific NOTAM or observation looks wrong, tell us the identifier and roughly when you saw it, and we can check what our mirror actually held at that moment.
If you are an aircraft owner and want your registration details withheld, that is handled through the FAA's own privacy procedure under 49 U.S.C. §44114(b), not through this site.
